New Edition of In the Zone E-News Released


Ancel Glink's land use group just released the fall edition of its In the Zone land use e-newsletter.  This edition highlights Illinois' new fracking legislation.  A brief excerpt of the article is set out below:

On June 17, 2013, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn signed in to law the Hydraulic Fracturing Regulatory Act (the "Act"), which allows, but heavily regulates, hydraulic fracturing operations in Illinois. Widely regarded as the strictest set of fracking regulations in the U.S., the Act may provide a consensus path forward for other states bitterly divided over the practice.
