Upcoming Program on Combining Design Commissions

Next week, the APA-Metro Section and the Municipal Design Review Network will be hosting a program called "Combining Design-Related Commissions: Streamlining or Surrendering."  This program is of particular interest to communities that are considering cost-cutting measures to deal declining revenues.

The program speakers will discuss the advantages of combining commissions (enhancing efficiency and reducing staffing costs) as well as the potential disadvantages (loss of member expertise and experience).  Attendees will also hear from planners who have gone through the process, as well as the perspectives of those who have opted to keep their commissions separate.

You can learn more about the program here.  Program details are below:

9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
